The Roemer Bullet is a anti back-up device used with trolling boards on the tow line, the Bullet is placed on the tow line and the clip (Usually shower curtain hook) slides past and down the town line. The line then can be tightened against the bullet. The bullet does allow the line to come back up the tow line in corners or by the wind blowing against it, and it also improves hook set because the line is tight to the tow line so when the fish bite there is an immediate connection and release form the clip.. Bullet can be placed at the desired location on the tow line to separate your lines at the desired locations.
